Priced to compete in the premium electric SUV segment, the VF7 offers a compelling mix of affordability and luxury. Bookings are open for a refundable ₹21,000 deposit via VinFastAuto.in or authorized dealerships. Deliveries are expected to start soon, with VinFast offering free charging and maintenance until 2028 for early adopters.

Bold Design: Sleek and Dynamic

Designed by Pininfarina, the VF7 boasts a sporty, crossover-like aesthetic with a premium stance. Its dimensions (4,545 mm long, 1,890 mm wide, 1,635.75 mm tall, with a 2,840 mm wheelbase) make it a commanding presence on the road. Key exterior features include:

  • Blanked-out grille with split LED headlights and V-shaped LED DRLs connected to the VinFast logo.
  • Flush-mounted door handles, a shark-fin antenna, and a roof spoiler for a sleek, aerodynamic look.
  • Wraparound LED taillights with a full-width LED light bar and a tailgate-mounted number plate recess.
  • 19-inch alloy wheels (20-inch on higher variants) for a bold, dynamic appeal.

Color Palette: Express Your Style

The VF7 offers six striking color options to suit diverse tastes in India:

  • Crimson Red: A vibrant, bold hue that accentuates the SUV’s sporty character.
  • Infinity Blanc: A crisp, elegant white for a sophisticated, premium look.
  • Jet Black: A sleek, timeless shade for understated elegance.
  • Desat Silver: A modern metallic silver with a contemporary edge.
  • Zenith Grey: A refined, neutral grey for subtle style.
  • Urban Mint: A fresh, vibrant mint green that appeals to trendsetting buyers.

These colors, confirmed for India, allow buyers to personalize their VF7, with some options potentially variant-specific (confirm with your dealer).

Luxurious Cabin: Tech and Comfort Combined

The VF7’s cabin combines premium materials with cutting-edge technology, available in two themes: an all-black scheme for the Earth variant and a Mocha Brown and black dual-tone for the Wind and Sky variants. Key features include:

  • 15-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, Google apps, and a voice assistant.
  • Fixed panoramic glass roof (standard on Sky Infinity, optional on others) for an open, airy feel.
  • Level 2 ADAS suite: Adaptive cruise control, lane-keeping assist, blind-spot monitoring, and automatic emergency braking.
  • Safety package: Multiple airbags, a 360-degree camera, electronic stability control (ESC), front/rear parking sensors, ABS with EBD, and rain-sensing wipers.
  • Comfort features: 8-way power-adjustable driver’s seat, ventilated front seats, dual-zone climate control, ambient lighting, wireless charging, colored head-up display, and OTA updates.

With a spacious 496-liter boot (expandable via folding rear seats) and a flat floor for enhanced rear-seat comfort, the VF7 is ideal for families and long drives.

Performance and Range: Power Meets Efficiency

The VF7 is powered by a 70.8 kWh battery pack with two drivetrain options:

  • Earth and Wind Variants (2WD): 201 hp, 309 Nm torque, 450 km WLTP range (up to 532 km ARAI).
  • Wind Infinity, Sky, and Sky Infinity Variants (AWD): 348 hp, 499 Nm torque, 431 km WLTP range (up to 532 km ARAI).

The AWD VF7 accelerates from 0–100 kmph in just 5.8 seconds, offering thrilling performance, while the 2WD variant balances efficiency and agility. It supports 3.3 kW and 7.2 kW AC charging and Level 3 DC fast charging (0–80% in ~24 minutes with CCS2). Four regenerative braking modes and Eco, Normal, and Sport drive modes enhance versatility.

Warranty Details: Built for Confidence

VinFast backs the VF7 with an industry-leading warranty package:

  • Vehicle Warranty: 7 years or 2,00,000 km, whichever comes first, covering manufacturing defects and major components.
  • Battery Warranty: 8 years or 1,60,000 km, ensuring the battery pack’s performance and longevity.
  • Free Maintenance Until 2028: Complimentary maintenance, including routine servicing and wear-and-tear parts (subject to terms).
  • Roadside Assistance: 24/7 support included for the first 3 years, covering breakdowns and emergencies.

This robust warranty, combined with free charging until 2028, makes the VF7 a low-maintenance, reliable choice. Verify specific terms with VinFast dealers.

Made in India: Sustainability and Support

The VF7 is locally assembled at VinFast’s Thoothukudi, Tamil Nadu facility, built with a ₹500 crore investment. The plant, with an initial capacity of 50,000 units annually (scalable to 150,000), supports domestic sales and exports to South Asia, the Middle East, and Africa. VinFast’s partnerships with RoadGrid, myTVS, and Global Assure ensure 11,000 charging points and 120 workshops nationwide. A collaboration with BatX Energies promotes battery recycling, aligning with India’s sustainable mobility goals.

What Makes the VF7 Special

  • Competitive Pricing: Starting at ₹20.89 lakh, it offers premium features at a competitive price.
  • High Performance: AWD variant with 348 hp and 5.8-second 0–100 kmph sprint rivals pricier EVs.
  • Stylish and Personalized: Six vibrant colors and a luxurious cabin cater to premium buyers.
